About me

Since graduating from Brigham Young University-Idaho in 2009, I have added two titles to my name: wife and mother. My passion for writing, discovering the unknown and sharing people's stories continues on as I share it with my family. I graduated in April 2009 with a degree in communication, emphasis in print journalism with a minor in Spanish.

I currently reside in Eagle Mountain, Utah, where I teach English as a foreign language to a group of adults. My fellow volunteers and I are working on making our program a non-profit organization. I dedicate two hours a week on teaching and help bring about success to our program's goals.

I also enjoy working with the young girls in my church community on a bi-monthly basis teaching basic skills of communication and positive self-image. They are exciting to work with!

I have also worked for the weekly newspaper The Jefferson Star in Rigby, Idaho. That experience provided me with some wonderful opportunities for growth in feature and sports writing. I hope to expand my skills once again in the writing sector.

I will be a wonderful asset to your group as an individual who is self-motivated, curious and vivacious. Take a look at my résumé, work samples and contact information to find out if we can work something out.
